The Made in Chelsea star claims her ex will not stay faithful to his current girlfriend
Spencer Matthews may have claimed to have turned over a new leaf and credits girlfriend of eight months Lauren Hutton with his new found maturity.
But one person who remains hard to convince is his ex girlfriend Louise Thompson.
The Made In Chelsea star declared the relationship won’t last as Spencer will grow ‘bored’ with Lauren, who made her debut halfway through series eight of the E4 reality show.
‘At some point he needs to behave like an adult,’ Louise told the Sun on Sunday. ‘But I can’t see him settling down though.
‘He’s basically so energetic he will probably get bored with anyone after a while.
‘It sounds nasty but that’s just my opinion.’
Yikes!
To be fair to Louise, Spencer went and cheated on her in her own bed, so the girl is hardly going to be singing his praises.
And when challenged by Louise at the time of his philandering, Spencer sensationally blamed her for making him repeatedly unfaithful, telling her: ‘It’s f***ing hard to respect you when you allow me to cheat on you.’
However, the 26-year-old charmer says he is all grown up now and has even given up booze.
‘Boring right? The no drinking thing is because I fancied a change, it’s not permanent,’ he explained. ‘It’s part of growing up. About time too.’
And on the subject of settling down with Lauren, he told the Evening Standard: ‘We’ve been together for eight months, and for me that’s quite a long time.
‘Lauren and I are very honest with our filming so you will see hiccups with our relationship. There is nothing more boring than a perfect relationship.
‘It’s always nice to have bumps in the road because it makes you realise whether you want to be with that person.’
Maybe a leopard can change its spots.
